Position Overview:

The Finance Manager - Healthcare Operations will oversee and manage the financial activities related to our healthcare operations. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure efficient financial management within the healthcare division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee financial planning and analysis for healthcare operations. Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with organizational goals.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Cost Management: Monitor and analyze costs related to healthcare operations. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
• Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and reimbursement. Ensure accurate and timely processing of claims and optimize revenue streams.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, financial standards, and internal policies. Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic initiatives and assess the financial impact of proposed changes or projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance team performance and professional development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare administrators, department heads, and senior management to align financial strategies with operational goals. Support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems. Enhance reporting tools and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on healthcare operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of healthcare finance, including revenue cycle management, cost accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing finance professionals.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
